What Startle is
Startle generates startup execution plans using Startle intelligence and sends accountability emails to a partner you nominate. It's a tool to help you stay structured — not a substitute for your own judgement.
What you agree to
- You're using your real Google account, with truthful intake answers.
- You've confirmed with your accountability partner that they're happy to receive Sunday digests from this product on your behalf.
- You won't use Startle to generate plans that involve illegal activity, harassment, or harm to others.
- You won't try to overwhelm the system (mass account creation, automated abuse, scraping).
What we don't promise
Startle-generated plans are suggestions. We don't guarantee your startup will grow, you will hit milestones, or that any specific tactic will work for your business. Outcomes depend on your execution, your market, and a lot of things outside our control.
We aim for high availability but don't guarantee uninterrupted uptime. Emails may occasionally fail to send.
Cost
Startle has a free plan and a paid Premium plan (£29/month or £290/year). Premium subscriptions are billed through Stripe and renew automatically until you cancel.
You can cancel anytime from your billing settings and keep Premium access until the end of the period you've already paid for. If we change pricing, we'll give existing subscribers at least 30 days' notice.
Termination
You can stop using Startle at any time. We can suspend or remove accounts that violate the “What you agree to” rules above. In either case, see the Privacy page for what happens to your data.
